I am not a fan of Whitehall but who are we left with.Shows again the board don’t know what they are doing so them to get rid of Butler will not happen

I think we can gauge from Danny’s recent performances his head was elsewhere.

I suspect the move is for personal or family reasons.

Great asset and a good footballer when the mood took him but that’s been a rare thing this calendar year.

Still scored 40 or so goals for us, was instrumental in our escape from NLN and was never boring until fairly recently.

Isn’t TSF a winger more than an out and out Centre Forward? Although there’s Gale, who’s actually a no.10 according to AB..

TSF is OK through the middle but not much use if you hoof it up to him. Mind you neither was Whitehall but that never stopped us trying it.

Everyone except Butler knows Gale is a centre forward.

Butler’s one big contradiction, a curt why would I want Billy when I’ve got Dec and Danny, don’t want any loans I’ve got mi 24 man squad.
Bloody exiting though waiting to see the proven goalscorer he’s bringing in.

Not a massive surprise is it really? Been on the cards for awhile and his last twenty games showed his heart wasn’t in it anymore. Good luck to the lad on his day he was a great asset but of late those days have been infrequent, thanks Danny for the memories.

I said the other day he’s not looked at all interested. Whitehall’s not been at it for quite a while. Non goal scoring form stretches from the 2nd half of last season when they pretty much dried up.

Top bloke and leaves us being 8th on the list of all time Iron goalscorers. Lots of memories with his goals over the past few seasons but definitely gone off the boil recently, pretty much directly after scoring a superb hat trick against Solihull Moors back in March. Hopefully the incoming Norwood can hit the ground running otherwise we really are in deep doo-doo.

Guess he’s not played competitively since April at best. Didn’t play loads last season and whilst I’m sure he will have been training somewhere we probably shouldn’t expect too much too soon.

Not surprised DW gone , decent bit of business by the BovD as out of contract in the summer and cashing in …been well off the pace for months. IMO there is some thing not right with Butler player relationships too many seem to have issues with him n vice versa.. attitudes differ and we all know how stubborn AB is.

His words .. the book stops with me so lets give him another 5 games and see how his latest 2 signings perform Norwood n Batty

He scores goals. Through the middle or coming in from wide, it doesn’t matter.

last few games he’s been the only one that’s looked like scoring.
