For those who didn’t see it, here’s Ian Hislop’s recent recounting of meeting Justin Welby the evening after he resigned, at the British Museum’s annual dinner. Yes, I know it may be difficult to read but hopefully can be enlarged so it’s legible

Ian Hislop spoke about the encounter on HIGNFY last week, I’m guessing Welby probably regrets making contact on the evening in question as Hislop’s superior intellect would have buried Welby very quickly in any informed discussion. Welby and the Church with their weasel words are an absolute disgrace, bill will always hide behind Jesus rather than confront the truth.
