Tried watching the latest Iron Hour podcast but got a bit nauseous. YouTube suggested this instead, which I’ve never seen before but was an entertaining watch. Almost as good as Revie V Clough. The tension is palpable and Big Mal looks on the edge of lumping Mullery, who comes across as a jumped up cockney twot. I guess some of the older Bruers will remember this TV delight and Mexico 70? Too early for me but I know the history of course.
Good spot. Gordon’s Gin? Suffice to say Big Mal could take his drink better than Mullery. So many embarrassing comments from him. ’31 caps, 31 more than you’ being one. ‘You couldn’t lick Alf Ramsey’s boots’ another. Bad greaser flick too.
Bring back this sort of thing instead of all the matey nicey nicey in each others pockets guff of punditry nowadays.
