There’s a close season to get ready, it’s where the money is, we need to be there.

The passing today was simply dreadful, Mick. 30%+ poorer than a month ago.
2 shocking GK errors lost us the game.
We were spoiled having Fitz in NLN (and he made a few errors) but one thing is a total certainty – we’ll be getting in a GK with experience for next season. We cannot mess around with such a key position. Lessons will have surely been learned – but probably far too late for us to have any shot at going up this season.

Don’t need to rescue it at the moment the playoffs beckon then it’s anybody’s on the day, the cods proved that.
Echo the goalie situation by the way, many said they trusted the judgement of the management team rather than supporter’s who’d never played the game professionally.

The defence and the GK are a concern, as is the CDM. Rowley is getting worse by the day, full backs hitting really poor form Boyce on his last legs and the keeper is introducing regular clangers into his game. Couple this with regular loanee departures were down to a very threadbare squad which probably matches our budget now.
Team are strolling through us at will just lately.

Down to attitude – we are safe so objective met. AB just said if we had 60 points after 45 games we’d be happy. Yep at the start of the season we would have been, except its not after 45 games its 32!.
So lets get our sandals off put out boots back on and start working hard again, running fast and attacking at speed.

I particularly enjoyed the Aldershot player’s tactic of finding space on the pitch to receive a pass rather than our preference for standing next to an opponent. Could we try that maybe? It gives more leeway for passers of dubious quality to find a team mate.

struggle to even make the playoffs as i reckon will stuff us and things will all go tits up.
remit of survival achieved ..AB job safe, players loaned out and nowt of note replacing , we look crap for it , attitudes have changed..
