Maybe the question should be:
“When did the decline actually start?”
It’s an acceleration of something that had already started during the second half of last season.
If that is the case, I think the next four games become particularly important.
Not “four games to save his job”.
I’d much rather Butler turns this around than we go through another managerial change.
But Hartlepool, Barrow, Forest Green and Fylde probably give him four games in which we need to start seeing evidence that he knows how to reverse the trend.
