In an ideal world, that would be how it works. Personally, I give credit where I feel it is due, but will speak truth to power when I feel things are wrong. I suspect that puts me in the category of “regular negative commentators.” As it stands, I think CT’s assessment of what was said is a fair one.

Just as some completely disregard anything PD says a lot of us ignore the constant negativity from the normal characters on and off here.

Giving gentle praise where it’s due and constructively point out inadequacies might work better such that opinions aren’t written off by others.
