Echo what other posters have said. Pick a system and stick to it. I’d personally try and counteract the lack of Roberts by changing tack and going with two up top. Butler seems to be allergic to it.
He needs to stop playing a high line with two CB’s with little to no pace. That’s a recipe for disaster. Jb has tons of pace, but showed against Rochdale in the play off semi final last season that positionally he’s all over the place. I’d trust him at RB or as a CB as part of a back 5 with 3 CB’s, but not as one of the two at the back.
Try 4/4/2 with settled side and see how that fairs.
