Hissy fits or not, there will be plenty of questions and concerns. All legitimate and fair, based on what I’ve seen of that mess.
Putting that aside, what do you think Butler is doing right this season IA? I’m struggling to identify anything, and I’ve defended his flak in the past.
TBF DM apart from the Yeovil game which I attended and the highlights from Southend away I cannot pass comment on today but I do know that 3 games into a 46 league game season is no time to be making hasty decisions on changing manager which some on here are already asking for. The defence needs sorting but the fact AB himself has said it’s the worst we have played under him as manager would suggest he is well aware of the problems that are facing the team. Changes will have to be made team wise be it formation or players tried elsewhere but that’s for AB to sort. Luckily for the more level headed amongst us the club appears to run by level headed people, probably why they are successful in business, so one would imagine they will give AB and his team time and encouragement to get things right after all they will be taking the last two seasons under AB into account not just the first 3 league games of this season. Two goals away from home is a positive of sorts but as I said earlier the defence needs a rejig and asap, let’s see what is put in front of us Friday night.
