Butler stated he’s been brought in strictly as a no 10, but looked great down the middle the other night. I suspect with a bit of polishing up, he could be a good player for us.
I like Whitehall don’t get me wrong, but he’s a little pedestrain in his approach. A bit one paced for my liking. Gale’s obviously nowhere near as polished as Whitehall, but looks a bit more energetic with a bit of quality thrown in.
May as well give him a go up top. What harm could it do ?
Whitehall not really done too much and wasn’t firing towards the end of last season either. Whitehall’s been off it for quite a while.
