Although we say that AB neither knows his best XI or best formation, I don’t think there is consensus on Bru either. That said, this is a forum for healthy debate and contributors teams always provide me with food for thought. Gale and Parker played together may provide us with a bit of beef to get something from the hoofs forward. Howe could exploit the confusion they cause, but then again, Pat Jones could create. Butterfield can pass a ball and should play for that reason alone. Rowley offers a press and Ollie Rose is coming into the equation. To me, Alfie Beestin offers more of a threat from the bench. I’m not going to dissect the back 5. No pace, so unless we are contemplating playing Starbuck, JB and Denton, it’ll be the usual suspects playing deep. My team FWIW:
