If only the 4 directors had that attitude, instead of loaning the club money.
Get over it, there are very few directors who put money into a football club with no intention of getting it back. I read a book 40-50 years ago investigating a number of main shareholders in the 50s, 60s and early 70s including the Edwards family at Manchester United, Everton’s Moores, Burnley’s Bob Lord and quite a few more that I can’t remember. This is not to say they were doing anything illegal, although the terms of the loans may have been a bit one-sided.
Coming back to our club, we have of course only to look at our two previous owners, I doubt very much that either of them lost money during their tenure. They spent the club’s money and assets until there was nothing left, and then rode off into the sunset caring nothing for the club.
You’re forgetting that Dodgy Dave was an altruist only after a good family legacy and only left because a handful of evil posters on Bru were mean to him! :-)
