Frustrated with the shithousery but far too early to write him off or ship him out.
He has consistently scored 20ish goals a season and nobody else in the squad has come near that at this level. He is not the most naturally fit and sharp so usually needs a game or 3 to get going at season start or after an injury absence.
Dec is the only other in the squad with a strong goal scoring record albeit mainly at lower levels.
I suspect that’s why Butler is giving him a shot wide right. Don’t blame Butler for trying that and we shouldn’t ditch the idea because it didn’t work first time.
Stands more chance of working if we have a right back with the pace and engine to support Dec going forward.
If Dec can’t make that work then he is only going to get 20 minutes a game.
