Whitehall got some crap service yesterday…………..I thought Whitehall’s play improved when Butterfield and Gale came on. Principally because one of the centre backs then had to plug the holes that Gale kept popping up into. Beestin should have been doing this. The management team got it wrong asking him to defend Westbrooke rather than let him play his more natural game!
So the 1st game and the set up is to deal with them ? Targeting yields mediocrity.
Open at home for 1st game, gate of 5111 and it should have been a simple instruction – get at them as quickly as possible at every opportunity but nothing learned from last season I fear.
Very much agree with those points. That didn’t look like a set up and approach that mirrored Michelle’s goal of promotion and neither have ABs words before or after the game. Do he and her have different ideas about what’s achievable this season? Looks too much like sleepwalking already to me.
