I am concerned about our lack of options and invention in CM. Rowley seemed to be playing deeper than Richards, which made little sense. I wasn’t convinced that Richards was a sensible signing and I remain underwhelmed. I am sure Barrows is a nice guy and a good trainer, but he shouldn’t be starting in a squad with at least three other RBs. Finally, only Butler understands the reason to play Howe out wide.
I stick to my prediction of a 10th place finish. The squad lacks balance and options in CM and up front. It is beyond me why we signed Hurst when we have so many better wide attacking options.
