I understand where you are coming from Rene, and he probably won’t be the best signing AB’s made this summer, but if having him in the building makes Danny Whitehall believe that his place is not a given, then those moments in a game when he just can’t be arsed may well become fewer. If he scores zero goals in his time here with us, but DW gets 27 I’ll be happy!
If the Chesterfield match is anything to go by, three or four minutes of it aside, DW is looking like having a quiet season ahead.
