I get your drift alcy but McDougal ( bought in 1972 actually) was a proven goal scorer in division three and had scored a shed load in an fa cup game which got the mancs sniffing round . Keegan was a young winger/ midfielder who had scored considerably less in a division lower and was still learning his trade, McDougal was an established competent striker, bit of difference comparison wise tbf.
