They are to be applauded for giving their time and expertise so generously. I guess others have done work (e.g. trades work, professional services) for the club on the same basis. I would be astonished if the club’s rationale for the scheme was to raise extra revenue to pay those who have delivered these pro bono services.
There’s a difference between ‘have delivered’ and ‘will deliver’ services.
