I think it’s fine to seek and secure labour, materials and funds from fans during particularly difficult times, but it isn’t sustainable long term. Sponsorship is different of course as is contributing to gain a collective say in the running of the club in a fan owned model.
I have to disagree slightly, I’m all for it as it helps keeps GP looking good and keeps the cost base down .
Where I diverge from the model is the fact this this sort of philanthropy will easily surpass the actual investment by some of the directors and I don’t mean loans .I genuinely believe there’s a reason that the trust is being circumvented as their stated aim is basically a quid pro quo .
