Agree with most of your post IA64 but we can’t be crediting Butler with recruitment of Roberts. He is the first manager to get and keep him fit for 2 full seasons so he deserves credit for that.
You also missed referring to what I think what is his best bit of business. Our second best player is Joe Rowley and whilst his signing was decent the masterstroke was seeing him as a holding midfielder this season.
A big test awaits this summer. Finding replacements for Roberts, Ewing and Boyce (possibly Westbrooke too) from the bargain basement is not going to be easy. A proper goalie wouldn’t go amiss either.
