III is bang on. Swann was an idiotic ego, but wasn’t malicious in his motive of owning a club. Hilton was a crook. Very easy to not have a ‘begging bowl’ mentality when he had umpteen excuses for not paying those we owed money to, including Swann, and invoking mental health as to why he shouldn’t be expected to pay former players or non-playing staff what they deservedly had the right to.
