I think you have identified the problem Deereyme, Midfield. Butler has consistently played a 3 or a 5, thereby protecting a weak back 4 and GK. if we can improve our defence over the summer and sign a decent defensive centre midfield who can pass then I would say 442 should be our preferred option with 2 strikers.
