Agreed. Season Tickets have been joke pricing (in fans’ favour) for the last few years.
Hard to make fair comparisons when our position has changed, but my season ticket for 2015-6 in the West Stand cost £360. I think it cost the same for a few seasons before that too but can’t find evidence of that.
Even allowing for the fact that we’ll be two divisions (hopefully one) below the division we were in then, the fact that an increase that some folk are complaining about doesn’t take us back to the prices of 11(+?) seasons ago suggests that the point above is correct.
For comparison, a mate’s renewal price for Rotherham in a similar seat in League One (as we were in 2015-16) cost him £485 this year (£535 for new ticket holders). However, his ticket next year will be cheaper than mine as they still operate senior tickets at 60+, which seems generous nowadays.
