Far be it for me to accuse anyone of lying but Butler has answered this question more than once in his RH interviews with Ollie Turner. Certainly I have known, with no other source but those interviews, that Howe’s loan had been extended to the end of the season with the usual 24 hour recall clause.
Don’t worry AWG, he’ll be available for the playoffs (not that I think Butler will pick him).
For the avoidance of any doubt I like Dec Howe and think he’s had a rough deal continuously played out wide on the left, but Butler prefers Whitehall. It is a sad fact that Whitehall doesn’t suit a front 2. What we need is to replicate the Hooper/Hayes partnership.
