I wouldn’t hold your breath regarding opting out of the National League Cup, Butler been keen previously to see positives from it. We should be nowhere near it in my opinion. Maybe we should reinstate a proper reserve side next season to give fringe players game time rather than make eight changes in a competitive fixture? To those who say we only got Mahady on loan as we played Leeds, should we not be up to date on who the likes of Leeds have available for loan anyway, just a thought.
