Why start a game when 3 quarters of the side are at that level, what’s the logical consequence of that – the performance we got maybe? I wasn’t adverse to 3 or 4 changes at a push but 8 was too many and not a hindsight thing, I visibly winced when they announced 8 changes on the radio. 17 years since we were at Wembley, may well be another 17 before we get a better chance. Yes, play-offs are and should be achievable but in one off games anything can happen, there’s no guarantees.
