Saw it slightly differently. Agree with Sanfran, bringing on Carlton for TSF when we went 2-0 up made sense. Likewise bringing on Dec’s fresh legs for Whitehall who had been in Maxi Kouogun’s pocket most of the game was understandable.
The only one I didn’t get was Barrows for Ewing which I’d agree was unnecessary. Adding to the usual 15+ minutes of trepidation at the end.
Good solid away performance though with Pools offering little really. Frustrating we couldn’t capitalise on it until the penalty but I’ll take the victory any day.
