In this free country everyone has the right to do what they like, it has to be acceptable to other people or it won’t be successful, the Matlock fans have the choice to accept Dave Hilton or not?…. the Matlock fans will be very aware of how things did not go so well at Scunthorpe,especially if they log on to this forum, but they, Being a very close neighbour to Ilkeston will also be very aware that Dave Hilton played a big part in the transformation of Ilkeston FC along with my son Andrew, incidentally Matlocks last game was indeed at Ilkeston town last Monday, it was a pleasure to host them and David Hilton, as you probably know they vote today to have him or not?… it has nothing to do with me, Ilkeston Town, and more importantly the resident Hilton haters in this forum has it?…. the other forum you have at Scunthorpe, the one you call the “Happy Clappers”… don’t seem so obsessed with Hilton and barely mention him at all, they seem to have moved on and seem more concerned with matters on the pitch and trying to influence attacking football at Scunthorpe, personally I think that is more beneficial to your team than obsessing about water under the bridge…don’t you?
