Loanees are complete hit and miss. We’ve had some excellent ones from the same league or the one above, and some absolute duds from Premier League teams (Devonte Redmond from Man Utd springs to mind!).
Some of the best, and worst players I’ve seen in an SUFC shirt are loanees.
No exact science to it but it’s something I’d always advocate for, even more so with our current financial restrictions.
