I seriously considered joining the 1899 club when it was launched as I had a little spare cash and wanted to support the club in anyway I could. The main things that stopped me were;
1). I am an existing ST holder in the Vertikal Stand and couldn’t see an easy way for me to get across during the match to use the facilities that were promised.
2). It seemed like it was rushed and ill thought through.
3). I had just started hearing lots of stories around the trustworthyness of DH.
Thankfully I didn’t go ahead and join, but I do feel for all those who did. I am 100% certain that they joined to help the club out and should not be belittled, mocked or derided for this.
