That must be because of they are part of the metropolitan liberal elite who don’t like Tory policy, which appeals to the true salt of the Earth common men.
Given Labour narrowing the vote, but losing, in Uxbridge was the ultimate approval that the public wanted rid of environmental measures and such, I presume this means the public want more house building, net zero etc? Or does that only apply for Tory wins?
