Well done SUFC, you have made a big attempt to rescue our dire situation, and I have got a lot of faith in Keith Hill, and we have slagged Swann off a real lot (with very good cause), but he has at last allowed the manager to make his own signings, we will not get top class players with the wage structure in place, but if Keith knows all about what these players can do, he gets my vote.
As well as getting new players into the club, he has maanaged to get rid of some of the dead wood we had, Hippo has had many chances but he would need a goal with a width of 20 yards to even hit it, Green must have taken my advice and signed for an athletics club, he will never make it at football. I am a bit sorry that Wood has gone back to Hull, I think it would have been a lot better for 6 match suspended Hackney to have been sent back. And the other two who left a few days ago where never going to play regular games. So some very late moves, but at least it was a shock to see that 3 more players signed today, and good luck that Keith can bring a winning team out of our much changed squad, and get our gates up into the 4,000 mark.
We still have a few poor players that obviously are clinging on to their contracts, which I don’t blame them for doing, and a few full time sick notes that were in the window when Cox and Swann junior were making their clown scouting recruitment trips, there again, they should never have been given their jobs.
