As Hill said he was using that as a glorified training match to see what Jarvis, Wood are about and how Rowe and Pugh looked in those positions. Hill surely will have realised that Rowe isn’t a CB and neither is pugh a RB.
I suspect McMahan told him they were seen as naturals playing in those positions and wanted a look himself.

O’Neil isn’t injured and can’t even make the subs bench. Those 3 need moving on. Hopefully somebody would loan O’Neil, Bunn’s contract is only till end of season but Hallam will be the hard one to shift on.
How many games has he played in these last 3 seasons ?. I’d like to think it will only be 20 odd, with him starting less than half.
