A certain well-known Scunny travel agent was streets ahead of Neil in terms of: knowledge, footballing brain, best use of inadequate resources, man-management, tactics, psychology and learning from mistakes.
He also signed some terrific players on a budget which was probably smaller in real terms than the the one in place this season.
Incidentally, how is it that Paul Hurst was able to get so very much out of the Shrewsbury trio and yet Neil so very little? – It is an important question.
