We could be spared embarrassment by having crowd restrictions being imposed at the start of the season. When we get 1500 (our limit maybe) then the management will assume that there are another 2000 that were hoping to get in and, as far as they’re concerned, everything will be rosy. By the time the crowd restrictions are lifted we’ll be unbeaten, 10 points clear at the top and the 4000 will be accomodated, nothing to worry about.

BTW I saw the chairman on TV yesterday from Beverley races where his horses performed in very similar fashion to his football team – coincidence maybe?
