So pleased this crap ” greed fest ” was nipped in the bud early by the game and in particular the fans all standing together and saying ” NO “. However the teams in the Prem should think about their own actions when it comes to greed and power, a stat from the excellent Brian Reade in the Mirror today reads that from a current TV deal of £8.65 billion for football, the Premier League voted to keep 93% of that deal for themselves. Hardly fair, democratic and totally selfish when only such a small amount left is distributed down the lower orders of football. The game needs better governance and fairer disribution of funds all the way down the chain if we are ever going to let clubs thrive and keep a strong backbone to our national game. The game never has or will start and end with the Premier League and its time they started to respond to that.
