That’s what I was thinking. Surely this transfer committee can’t have seen the goal scoring records of Turan and Jarvis ?
Never mind footage, just surely reading those records for the pair of them and having half a braincell would lead you not to sign them.

I have a sneaking suspicion whoever it was down at the club went on recommendations and thought that was enough.
This is why football clubs have the structure they have in place “scouts” to not allow this crap to happen.
I know Turnbull hadn’t unearthed any gems in what seems like years but do you really think he would have recommended either of those two ?
Least a scout/scouts would have read their previous records for crying out loud. Due diligence and all that jazz.
