That what he said today in the post match interview was complete bullshit. McAtee despite playing 90mins against Man City u23’s, had yet another 3 days training but he’s still deemed unfit to such an extent that he couldn’t even make the bench.
Utter rubbish…you telling me he wasn’t fit enough to at least come on from the bench ?
If he was that concerned about him gaining match fitness, he would have started him and subbed him off when tired or at the very least brought him on from the bench.
I’d rather he told the truth and just said he doesn’t see eye to eye with him. I won’t even start on him choosing Hippolyte over Eisa.
I don’t know what’s gone off behind the scenes but Cox needs to seriously get a grip.
Colclough, Eisa and McAtee are our best current attacking players along with Gillead and all snubbed. Crap football, lack of excitement and shots on goal…yet we have those 3 parked to one side.
