So, he rests 3 players on Tuesday and you complain. He brings the same 3 players back today, rests Clarke and replaces the injured McGahey and still you complain.
These aren’t changes for the sake of it, he’s trying to manage, what is in reality, a very slim first team squad while beset with injuries to senior players. Van Veen and Brown out for 2-3 months, McGahey – don’t know yet. Clarke has to be nursed along and even Olamola is out for weeks.
I suggest that you try to engage your brain before posting.

Apart from Clarke (rested today) Howard and Onariaise, we are now back to the squad that was available earlier in the season – and we all know how that went.

BS, why should we, supporters limited to (at best) watching on TV, know the reasons why Neil Cox made the changes he did? Were the players carrying knocks, not fully fit, etc. McAtee for one has had a stop/start season. Loft has played most games and run himself into the ground in most of those games. Playing twice a week and all the problems associated with Covid-19 means that there will be many more changes to the team than usual.

Oh, by the way, calling the manager ‘this Cox guy’ only shows your ignorance.

Sorry to say that Eisa is a one trick pony as far as his wing play is concerned – run as fast as he can until he’s level with the edge of the penalty area, then cut inside of the full back and shoot with his right foot. He needs to add more to his repertoire if he wants a lengthy career in league football.

Yes, definitely a patched up team and two LBs in the back four. Shame to see Beestin on the bench but we don’t know how fit he is. And finally, KVV and Olamola are back in the squad, I hope that they can stay fit and make a difference!

People should listen to the section in the Charlie Goode podcast regarding the effect playing with the fear of making a mistake has on a player. He’s blossomed at Northampton because he’s had the support and encouragement of the supporters and the manager and not been singled out for blame, as he was here by McCall and the keyboard warriors.

Funny Burney, I can’t remember you saying how good he was when he was with us. Perhaps you can ask Matt to dig out all of your posts praising Goode.
I think we have another case of 20/20 hindsight here, IL82 seems similarly afflicted.
I of course posted many times on here praising CG and demanding patience from the fans but howled down by other posters (and if you believe that…)

Just watched his first interview, great to see someone so enthusiastic for the club. We might see a different approach from the touchline this coming season. Hope we get Lillis as his No.2.
