So pleased the Wealdstone decision has gone your way – as it always should have done but I never trust the NL. Ridiculous why the goals don’t count though.

As regards the Eastleigh match, I remember some years ago now, Southport were away at Alfreton (?) in April ( i.e. almost end of season) when the match was abandoned just before the end. For weather I think. Anyway, scores was 1-1, both sides were in agreement to settle for a draw. However the NL insisted upon a replay. Which was quickly squeezed in. Southport won the replayed match and those 2 extra points saw them be NLN Champions.
    So you never know!!

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Another point. 6 years ago Barnet had an F A Cup tie at Potters Bar Town. Heading towards injury time, Barnet 0-1 ahead when our player suffered a truly horrible broken leg. Treatment on the pitch, oxygen, taken to hospital. We didn’t request the match be abandoned. Our players were distraught. Moments later Potters Bar equalised with their first chance of the match because we weren’t concentrating.
OK, we easily won the replay. But the incident was genuinely traumatic at the time. More so than the Wealdstone shoulder injury sounds to have been.

I’m a Barnet fan. Wealdstone are a horrible club. Every single club I’ve ever seen us play I’m neutral about once the final whistle has gone. Not so Wealdstone.
Wealdstone and Barnet’s grounds are only 9 miles apart but after our uncomfortable experience there ( mum and 2 daughters) it’s the one ground I’d never set foot in again. The one place we’ve visited where misogyny is truly in evidence. But then, they set upon our male fans too, lining up by the exit to see them off, another time waiting for them in the town centre. Then after the final whistle their then manager lead the singing of anti Barnet songs in the club house. Their current manager is one time ex Barnet, when he was with us he fooled some fans by constantly saying how much he cared about his mum. I could imagine him trying to fool the NL board too. I wouldn’t trust anybody from there.
I hope the ruling goes in your favour. You were very welcoming when we visited in Feb 2003 ( even if Barnet spoilt a big night for you ) and have always seemed to be a decent club.
