As an example: “We are currently looking at a CM’.”
That’s what gives the fans a little encouragement – don’t give them that and you alienate them.
They don’t ask for what you are suggesting, UTI99 – for the most part, they are not stoopid. A few titbits of info – doesn’t even have to be a lot – and they feel involved.
Involved fans buy season tickets.
Alienated fans don’t. QED.

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to work out Cox will be looking to sign someone into each position, whether that’s on a permanent or loan.

Some just look for any excuse to continue their toxic behaviour towards the club.

Pleased to see this signing get over the line. Hard to gauge the standard of the Scottish leagues sometimes but the fact Northampton were after him aswell shows there’s something there.

Cover for Mason and 4th choice centre back are not priorities so we are pretty much there for a back line.

Keeper, x2 strikers, x2 wingers needed now.

UTI99, think about it please.

As several people on here have said when you check out the OWS or when you receive the club newsletter as I do each week all you get is buy season tickets, buy last season’s kit, etc etc.

All it takes is a few sentences saying something like “Neil has identified areas where we need to strengthen and the recruitment team is actively looking to bring in players that will contribute to our challenge next season. We will keep supporters informed as and when we are able to confirm any new signing”.

Or letting the fans know about any trialists.

That doesn’t require a brain surgeon either!
