… the scunny crowd were outstanding creating a brilliant atmosphere the support offered to Pugh and Rory will have given them a lift, give me the young boisterous hooligan fans any day over the likes of BS and Alcy.
What an idiot you are: you have never seen me at a football game, and simply assume I’m as my internet persona.
An apology would be nice but I’ll not expect one.
August 15, 2021 at 5:38 pm #212000I do apologize, after all your comments I assumed you had been to a Scunthorpe game, didn’t realize you were just a wind up merchant, fair play to you if that’s what you enjoy.
August 16, 2021 at 2:33 pm #212029Didn’t get to the game myself but I have seen Gareth’s Podcast. Great to see a few young lads of Asian ?? background following The Iron, I know it has been said before but the club should do more to attract more of the ethnic minorities in town and surrounding villages. August 16, 2021 at 2:52 pm #212033Indeed BT, nice indeed, though they are part of the iron youth and personally that’s fine with me. Everyone is more than welcome the old uns are dropping like flies in more ways than one.
August 16, 2021 at 3:06 pm #212034Nice to hear Cox on the OWP praise the fans for the support and atmosphere they created on Saturday, shame some of our own don’t appreciate all who travelled on Saturday, the silence was deafening from him though about any new signing just a forward will do for now.
August 16, 2021 at 3:12 pm #212035Too late to register Lillis?
August 16, 2021 at 4:14 pm #212036A good 30 years too late Cass

August 16, 2021 at 5:07 pm #212037It was a good vocal away backing from the 400 who went. Shame it was such a low number as a first away trip of the season to Rochdale should have generated a following of 800-1000.
August 16, 2021 at 5:29 pm #212038Just the result of so many fans being unhappy with events both on and off the pitch.

August 16, 2021 at 8:38 pm #212045Of course it put the Swindon fans off, they only brought 800 ish less than 10% of their 1st home game, whereas we took 15% of our home crowd, Portsmouth had their lowest home crowd in 8 years down by 2000, normally a full house for first home game, evidently there have been ticketing issues as well, but doesn’t answer it all, Cowley asking the fans to “Stay with us”. So we are not alone when it comes to drop in crowds for all sorts of reasons, after our last 2 campaigns we should expect a drop, the one way to alter this is to start winning games it’s the same for most teams.
