And Oliver Rose listed as a Centre Back by Peterborough, so there is your CB and a right back cover.

Did he completely get over that niggling injury he had whilst with us? Needed an important op as I recall. Knee or something? I rated him. Definitely quality, took no shit – a little bit classy and good to watch.

Rose back on loan (if he’s fit) until Barrows is back would be perfect

A degenerative bone condition in his knee, that’s for life and as he gets older it will worsen, I really liked Matty Lund but at 34 and with that particular condition I think he’s best avoided.

Lund is much better physically than Clunan and much better defensively.
He’s a quality player all round.
We need someone to win the ball and control the midfield. He can do that.

How can you say that without knowing what the 34yr old is actually able to offer ?. You’re basing his capabilities on what the version we had used to offer. This Lund will be nowhere near the version we once had.

Comments above completely ignoring the fact he played 43 games for a team that finished 8th in League 2 last season? Yeah, he must be completely finished as a footballer!

30+ games every season since he left. And we’re playing 2 leagues lower.

You’re basing your opinion of his current capabilities on what? The fact that you watched 30 odd Salford games last year?

Or are you maybe making a lot of assumptions too?

Clearly he could still do a job for us.

Wonder why his contract was not renewed or maybe he rejected terms, anybody know that?

Salford have just been bought out by Sir David of Beckingham and Co so maybe they gonna splash the cash and were just clearing the out ov contract dead wood.

Matty Lund could do a good job for us , as could ex Cod Jake Eastwood if it happens.

Ex Cods tend to do okay for us. Thinking Czuczman, Brolly, Lester, Ford etc

Sure was. Between the sticks when King Kev (maybe not so much anymore!) downed the Cods at Blunder Park.

Well with Max K now moving on I think we need 4 to 4 more.

A back up Keeper. 1 RB, 1 CB, Left wide player and or another attack mid player.
