he is young and is allowed the odd duff game, its part of his experoencing building, you know that.
All players are allowed the odd duff game.
Federa’s impact on our season has been tangible, he’s provided a lift, some excitement and some decent action. Personally, I think in the last couple of matches he may have been a little nervous, starting to overthink things slightly and also actually bullied out of his game a bit (Kings Lynn).
April 24, 2025 at 1:11 pm #303265He started at Kings Lynn and I think the general view is at the moment he is more effective as an impact sub, I go along with that, the threat of him running at tiring defenders in the last twenty five minutes or so has been very entertaining to watch and has brought more goals. Unless through injury he has to start I would make him sub right through all our remaining fixtures this season.

I agree. I’d much rather see Ubaezuonu start and Federa as an impact sub.
April 24, 2025 at 1:28 pm #303267question
Do loan players return to their parent club after the final game of the regular season or can they play in the play offs thinking of FaderaAfter his last two performances I’d hope he’s already on his way back to his parent club.
Rene you do realise your post about Mo now qualifies you for nomination in The Last Legs Dick of the Year awards on Channel 4, lol. Mo is a young upcoming player who has been a breath of fresh air in our squad since joining on loan from York but he is young and is allowed the odd duff game, its part of his experoencing building, you know that.
Can the grandkids attend or is it over 18s only.
He was doing ok but these last couple of performances he’s looked more lost than Will Robinson.
At the moment he seems to be a ‘super sub’ in the mould of a David Fairclogh?
Maybe he’s just lost interest?
See how he goes at the weekend.
April 24, 2025 at 3:22 pm #303275Ah yes of course, a young player wanting to get on in the game has ” lost interest” in helping a team he’s playing for get promoted and have that on his CV, yeah ok Rene, whatever.
April 24, 2025 at 4:22 pm #303280Inconsistency, a lack of assiduousness and ‘attitude’ are a major reason why ‘kids’ don’t make it.
Sometimes, players just don’t fancy it.
Perhaps his last two outings were that?April 24, 2025 at 5:20 pm #303284I think the Linnets setting up their pitch to resemble a turnip field had more to do with his performance in last Fridays game than any issues with his attitude.
April 24, 2025 at 6:33 pm #303289Was it worse in person than it appeared on television?
April 24, 2025 at 6:54 pm #303291Pitch like a bowling green at Radcliffe and mo sits on the bench, Pitch like a turnip patch at KL and he starts.

April 24, 2025 at 7:12 pm #303292Just listened to his Hereford pre match interview on Humberside.
We have been working on defending because we made a defensive error in each of the last 2 away games. Decided not to work on the issue of creating very few chances in either game. Speaks volumes.

April 24, 2025 at 7:48 pm #303296Whilst I understand your frustration, we created enough chances at KL to have (undeservedly) won the game.
April 24, 2025 at 8:29 pm #303303Must have all happened while I was in the 30 minute queue for food.
We created the square root of feck all at 5th from bottom Radcliffe on a fine pitch.

April 24, 2025 at 9:33 pm #303306Anything could happen. My hope is that he sets the team up to play football and win the game, thus doing all we can and gain some momentum for the play offs. It’s the hope that kills you.
April 24, 2025 at 9:56 pm #303311AB isn’t going to change now – what we need for momentum is a 2nd clean sheet on the trot!! if that means 4 away games without scoring so be it, feel the quality of the clean sheet.

ABs defensive mentality has cost us auto promo , his 5 at the back earlier in the season and refusal to see its failings when all around could cost us big time and still he seems to care more about keeping a clean sheet then setting up and going out to batter teams.
Im not surprised hes been working on defending in training alas finishing chances needs addressing, it didnt matter against PBS we missed so so many but its become a bad trait that will happen in games where it does matter and chances must be taken. We will not beat Hereford, i would bet the batteries for my grans pacemaker on it…

We missed plenty against Kings Lynn, we could have won that 3-1 or 4-1 – just watch the highlights video.
We also missed a couple of good ones against Radcliffe.
