I think they’ve done it in a hurry and got it wrong. Be interesting to see the bulk order when it comes. No doubt in my mind that the issue was the negotiating of the front of shirt sponsorship holding up manufacture.

They’ve certainly got it wrong.

Maybe it was detected with the first batch and is being rectified for the bulk? Hope so, for the buyers sake. Expensive do that replica shirt buying.
July 22, 2025 at 2:54 pm #307419Those of you moaning about the kit should have a look at the Forest Green kit. I don’t think many will sell.

I suspect differently, and think it could do well. It’s a lot better than the Scunthorpe United kit.

The advantage of the FG shirt is you will be able to eat a section of it with some tofu at half time, nothing wasted.

July 22, 2025 at 3:06 pm #307422I know you don’t like our new shirt but please tell me you’re joking. I’ll not be able to take you seriously in future, it’s a shocker. Credit to them for committing to wear it for 2 years though, should be more of that. Might make signing players difficult next summer knowing what they’ll be wearing.

It’s brash and ridiculous enough to be funny, which you could turn to your advantage as a Club or as a fanbase. Get ahead of the joke, own it.
Ours is just really shit design.
July 22, 2025 at 3:27 pm #307424It’s not available and the sizes are dodgy?
July 22, 2025 at 4:15 pm #307426There’s a size guide and an opportunity to try on for size before pre-ordering. Every chance to avoid any dodgy sizing if it exists.

But no chance to avoid dodgy design.
July 22, 2025 at 4:42 pm #307430Some of us think it’s OK, I should point out btw that I last bought a replica shirt in the 80s, I think there’s an age (and girth) to stop, opinions vary on both.

July 22, 2025 at 5:17 pm #307431Just saw the club reply to a comment on FB questioning the off centre sponsor and confirming that the shirts used in the promo vid/photos were just samples and “rest assured the retail and match worn shirts are centralised”.
July 22, 2025 at 5:32 pm #307432That’s logogate over then. Unless there’s a sequel?
I don’t mind the FGR shirt. It’s kind of what they do every season. Part of their USP.
July 22, 2025 at 5:43 pm #307433I can cope with “I don’t mind” but “a lot better than the Scunthorpe United kit” is very hard to take.

Hey, life comes at you fast.
July 22, 2025 at 6:21 pm #307436Do we know shorts colour? That could make a difference, pale blue would be good. (IMO)
July 22, 2025 at 6:32 pm #307437“SKY” if you please, ‘tash.
Had enough bother with the maroon t-shirts!

July 22, 2025 at 7:04 pm #307441Claret-Maroon, different.
Pale Blue-Sky Blue near enough surely?
Shorts with chains on might cause some issues.July 22, 2025 at 8:47 pm #307450At least the sponsors name seems to be central on the shirts tonight

July 22, 2025 at 8:49 pm #307452Got a feeling the use of chains in the design will be a regretful decision.

The moaners will have to cross that one off their list then, guess they will be scrambling to find another.
July 22, 2025 at 8:55 pm #307454Doesn’t look bad with the sky blue shorts and claret socks

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the kit, but I didn’t get the outrage, but outrage is in vogue within society. Is it any worse than 2012-13 or 2021-22?
July 22, 2025 at 9:15 pm #307456Who’d have thunked it. a vegan shirt by Fgr, Some of mi strides are made from bamboo can’t get our lass interested in eating them offered mi 2 veg as well ungrateful cow.

July 22, 2025 at 9:45 pm #307461Bamboo is notorious for attracting rats. So I’d keep a close watch on your meat and two veg!
