When you have a manager who completely jumps the gun and states publicly that a player is his number once choice, despite the player in question being an absolute millions miles away and nowhere near good enough is more than enough to spread panic.

They somehow managed to miss on the highlights reel the incident in the first half when he came for a right wing cross that he got nowhere near to leaving the Cleethorpes forward to miss a sitter.

Cleethorpes own video picked it up at 1 minute 26 against their little number 9 and as you know MK being directly behind it just went through his hands, maybe should have punched and connected with him he was a dirty Lf, it was him who Roberts squared up to after his foul on him.
Anyway what do we know we only watched and heard it live not with the benefit of cameras on the halfway line with limited highlights.

The thread set out to spell the need for an experienced goal keeper who has played games at an higher level. That has not changed.

The thread did not set out to destroy any individual. However a lad was handed the No 1 shirt, and told not to read social media.

That was worrying and every Iron fan recognised the importance of Ross Fitzsimmons and his excellent all round capabilities and knack of saving games.

Ross won points and saved games making very few mistakes throughout the two campaigns he was with us.

We need that even more at an higher level a capable keeper who instills confidence in the defence and indeed the crowd.

We simply have not got that at the moment.

One thing’s for sure – he’s not been given a fighting chance, so it’s difficult to judge how well he might perform in future competitive matches due to the impact of the doubters. He’s been court martialed by social media.
