Friendly at Bottesford on Friday 4th July so I’m guessing Monday 30th June.

Who’s ready for the annual identity the trialists game?

Dubem Eze is seen training with players today on the club website so he could be the next announcement.

Plays mainly ACM, but can also play out wide. Played well at Chorley last season before his loan ended according to chorley fans on twitter a.k.a X. I suspect we may have him on trial, as he was rumoured to have come into the club a week or two ago.

I’d sign him personally. Good age, powerful/well built, quick, pretty versatile and looks to be a bit of a tricky player. I will however say clips can be more than a bit deceiving, but he did do well last season at Chorley on loan.

I can’t imagine him wanting a massive amount in wages either.

I expected those replies. I expect nothing more from these dinosaurs. Having a dig at me is most likely their highlight of their week. I can’t imagine sitting there watching re runs of time team while soiling themselves is much fun.

“I will however say clips can be more than a bit deceiving”

    Self explanatory.

Are attempts at a bit of light hearted banter too much?

Does that mean he’ll be away during the African nations or am I over predicting his level?!

We seem pretty well stocked from.an attacking point of view, with Max probably leaving I’d like to see some cover in defence and a keeper coming in!

    First choice keeper required.

1 centre back – 2 if Maxi has gone with 1 being a starter.

2 midfielders needed. 1 holding player with physical presence and one left sided with a bit of pace.

One of the above outfield players needs to be able to deliver quality right footed deadballs. If Clunan was the best we had then nobody in the current squad is up to scratch.

We were left hanging last season waiting for that high profile signing, it never materialized.

A player yet to start a game at National League level being called up to represent one of the biggest footballing nations in Africa!? Don’t think we have anything to worry about there!

There’s a compilation video doing the round of a few of his goals / silky ball skills. Looks like a decent addition.

GK, CB and DMF are the only positions to be filled. Where will he play? Denton back to LB? Hard to see where he’ll be a regular starter.
