Our old coinage had some great names, farthing, thrupenny bit, a tanner, florin, half crown, the decimalisation of the currency made it easier to work out but the names of the coins are quite bland, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, bah humbug.

Not looking to ridicule Phil – his full post goes on to say that the lad will most likely be playing at a much higher level in 3 or 4 years time.

However, to link in to today… just so pleased that we finally secured the services of this young man. It sort of makes up for releasing him all those years ago.
