1 STH = 1 POF ticket? It’s discriminatory allowing a ST holder to be able to preferentially purchase 4 tickets.
Very poor imho.
Agree Rene .. doesnt effect me but i do feel sorry the loyal regular fans who will miss out .
IMO a STH should have been able to buy their own ticket plus 1 more maximum.
Rene when shall we start the score predictions ?????? btw im assuming Cal Roberts will be out injured.
May 13, 2025 at 4:24 pm #304414It makes little to no sense to introduce a loyalty point scheme for general sale (never done before) but then let season ticket holders distribute multiple tickets to whomever they please whether they’re an actual fan or not. And it wasn’t just ST holders who could purchase 4, those purchasing in general sale phase 1 could also get up to 4 tickets!
There’s an ST holder on FB claiming to have gotten his 4 tickets, then managed to also get an ADDITIONAL 3 when they went on general sale. If true then that is an utter clusterfuck from the club…no wonder some genuine fans are missing out.

Steady on, old son. No need for that.
May 13, 2025 at 4:36 pm #304418Not untrue though is it? Sure he’s been called worse over the years.

May 13, 2025 at 7:01 pm #304421Just reading an article on Sheffield utd at Wembley, official coach travel £64 with no concessions.
What a good job Jerry and Andy Brown do keeping prices as they are.May 14, 2025 at 4:13 am #304427I had a dream … well a nightmare more like.
** Based on Cal Roberts not being involved, yes he really is that pivotal.
Im gonna kick off the score predictions for Sunday and apologize in advance if i piss on anyones chips its just how i see it unfolding.
Got a gut feeling
It will be very close yet open game with a few goals , no way its a 0-0 n pens this one.
The Iron players for whatever reason put in a lackluster performance, Chester want it more on the day and run out winners .. its what happens at Scunny when theres a huge game and crowd..2-2 90 MINS
2-3 AET
Chester go upAtt 8,889

Apart from when Cliffy equalised or we beat numerous team to win league 1 or beat Newcastle or beat Chester early this year. If Chester give it a go we win, if they park the bus it will be hard without Roberts. This game is about the mind not the ability – we are the better team. Just need AB to get them on the front foot from the off. Iron 2-1 after been 2 up and finish 8-1-1 formation ;-)May 14, 2025 at 8:20 am #304429No, you’re just a twat with a God complex.

Ha ha

This lazy idea that we bottle it in front of big crowds or on big occasions is absolute nonsense.
May 14, 2025 at 9:06 am #304431Are you denying it’s ever happened?
May 14, 2025 at 9:10 am #304432Are you denying it’s ever happened?
Of course not, but it’s an extremely lazy trope to suggest it’s our default.
May 14, 2025 at 9:16 am #304433We won 2-1 away at Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup in front of 33,000 didn’t bottle it that day in front of a big crowd. 50,000 at Wembley to see us beat Millwall 3-2, it’s all irrelevant it’s always ” on the day ” big crowd or not.
May 14, 2025 at 9:38 am #304434Obviously you’ll have the odd exception but in the main it’s being correct, I have highlighted this season however that Butlers team has bucked that trend and we’ve won every game at home where a big crowd as turned up and praised him for it.
When talking of the big crowd I’m pretty sure IFA and others have meant home games Ironawe and the expectation that brings with a big crowd.
Last season 4 games, and only won one, and that was early doors against Brackley when both where going well, Tamworth and the Boston games a no show.
Had to go back to 2015/16 for the previous biggie we won, last home game of the season against Port vale keeping us in the hunt for automatic promotion.May 14, 2025 at 1:38 pm #304440its what happens at Scunny when theres a huge game and crowd..
Like the Chester league game? Or Chorley in the semi?

“Please be aware, the resale of your match admissions for this weekend is a breach of the terms and conditions of sale. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact us for a refund and we will cancel your booking. Should an individual be found to be reselling your passes, these will be automatically cancelled without refund. Furthermore, should the holder of a resold ticket be apprehended for misconduct at the weekend, the individual on the booking of the ticket could be subject to repercussions, just as much as the offender.”Does this mean that the ST holders with 4 tickets have to give them away?

This could be a ‘stop it’ warning for those who are social media scalping (if there is any of that profiteering going on). It also reads, to me, as a bit of a warning shot for those who shouldn’t be in attendance due to stadium bans and to those who bought their tickets for them? Definitely, though, it’s a bit of pressure to ticket buyers to implement peer pressure and stop the nobheads before they misbehave.

I am being pedantic, but that was to keep us in the hunt for the playoffs. Also, I would argue that the 2-0 win at home to Plymouth in 2017/18 which virtually assured us of a playoff spot, while Plymouth winning would give them an upper hand, would class as a more recent big game win at home.

May 14, 2025 at 3:33 pm #304446Your not being pedantic Sidey, your Plymouth result was the more recent big result with bigger crowd.
I stand corrected.May 14, 2025 at 3:42 pm #304447Your not being pedantic Sidey, your Plymouth result was the more recent big result with bigger crowd.

Indeed. ‘Last season’. Directed by the managerial maestro, Jimmy Dean.
May 14, 2025 at 4:28 pm #304450Pressures all on the club trying to deflect indeed, they were the ones who let 4 tickets be bought by each season ticket holder without any direction on resale of them.
Guess they’ve seen the socials where Chester fans claim they have tickets for the home end. Good look with that lads if true and you do score.
Any real likely prospect of trouble is in the naughty corner from either sets of fans, which I believe the club have sold, and which may say they had no need to open it up especially when all the proceeds go to the NL asking for trouble imo.
Club are really dumb arses if they can move the blame on to season ticket holders for behavior of fans they have sold to, Moody and others from the club have been on tuther side all week seeing fans move tickets on, why wait till now to offer threat’s.
Hopefully a win for us without them scoring and all should be fine.Ps Apollo,I think you’ll find out of most on here, if i get things wrong I correct it or apologize.
Another Ps. Good job Deerey, BLT and RB declined my offer of tickets imagine being held responsible for someone you’ve never met lol, told the 5 I’ve given tickets to, destroy once in the ground. another big lol.

I said it light-heartedly, but fair enough.

May 14, 2025 at 5:31 pm #304454Great planning.
May 14, 2025 at 6:54 pm #304456Unfortunate, but I dare say the road closure has been planned for months
