Poor defending or was it Rory not coming to claim? Couldn’t quite see from our angle.
Look lightweight up top.
Carlisle looking to getting us a red card or three. Cheating twats.
As usual spoilt by a petty refOctober 4, 2025 at 6:32 pm #311878Ref is losing control of this game. Can’t see us getting back in it and nearly lost both centre halves. Can see the ref sending one of there’s off – then maybe we could have a sniff
October 4, 2025 at 6:35 pm #311879Debatable if the goal was all down to Watson. It was another long ball that should have been defended better? Yes, maybe he’s somewhat at fault but won’t deserve the stick he gets for it and won’t be the reason we lose the game, should that be the case
October 4, 2025 at 6:39 pm #311880Whether it was Watson’s fault or not, that’s almost every single goal conceded this season being from a high ball into the box. It’s more than a theme now, it’s a major weakness!
October 4, 2025 at 7:14 pm #311881Making a good stab of it even with all there theatricals and the twat in the middle making all about him
October 4, 2025 at 7:34 pm #311882Disappointing but I’m not devastated. Gave it a good go.
It’s been a tough run of fixtures but feeling confident for Tuesday.
October 4, 2025 at 7:48 pm #311883Thought we played really well when down to 10, crosses and set plays into the box is a real problem and if we can learn from them and do better I don’t see any teams better than us.
October 4, 2025 at 8:07 pm #311884100% effort from the team. Can’t ask for anything else.
The engines on Beestin & Ewing are immense.October 4, 2025 at 8:11 pm #311885It’s a funny old game. FGR also lost their unbeaten start today; going down 0-1 at home to Rochdale.
Put that game to bed and move on to the next one.October 4, 2025 at 8:15 pm #311886I thought Kelly played an absolute blinder for them.

64 won’t have liked him!
October 4, 2025 at 8:31 pm #311891Ref was a joke. Excellent effort from the players.
October 4, 2025 at 8:42 pm #311894I thought Kelly played an absolute blinder for them.
If he could shoot they’d have been out of sight!
October 4, 2025 at 8:45 pm #311896Second half performance with ten men was amazing and I thought the guys were more than worthy of a point but it just wasn’t to be. To go this long without losing a game this season till today has been a superb effort all round and the whole squad and management deserve huge credit for how they have performed so far. Let’s get back on the horse Tuesday night against Morecambe and begin another run, we have a very good squad and manager for this level let’s enjoy the ride UTI.

October 4, 2025 at 9:22 pm #311902Agreed, couldn’t have asked for much more than we got today. Fine margin game and the red card for us was stupidity- 3 reds in 11 games is a problem that needs addressing.
Couldn’t have asked for 2 better games than Morecambe/KL to get back on the horse and put another run together. Another test for Butler and the team to see how they respond

October 4, 2025 at 9:41 pm #311905Keeper didn’t have a good day but Whitehall was just embarrassing
October 4, 2025 at 10:18 pm #311907We definitely missed Rowley.

October 4, 2025 at 10:35 pm #311908Yes we performed well with 10 men, but Boyce made a huge error and Evans was really lucky that we didn’t end up with 9.
With 11 on the pitch we may well have hit something from the game. The discipline needs tightening up.

Agenda well and truly noted.
Last year people were saying we didn’t get stuck in enough. Now we are we’re picking up red cards. Fine margins.
Good job big Jean has recovered.

Agreed. Suspected that might be the case the way he’s been bossing and dictating games, breaking up the opposition and picking out runners with precision. That said, I thought the new lad did well, no disrespect to him.
October 5, 2025 at 6:33 am #311920Leaving both your top goalscorers on the bench would have been a boost to Carlisle in the first place.
Whitehall should always be first on the team sheet now Fitz has gone and nothing he’s done this season and previous would suggest otherwise.
Don’t know what extra money we got for the TV game but only 700 Carlisle cost the club £20,000 plus, filled every away allocation up till yesterday even at York for the night match very disappointing.October 5, 2025 at 6:58 am #311921No reason to believe they will score more than one (does anyone?), and I foresee at least two goals from us. 2-1 Iron.
You were correct about them only scoring the one goal
Our two goals were both sat on the bench at kick off… Dan & Dec!
I’m sure AB will have learnt a valuable lesson – start with your strongest available 11.

October 5, 2025 at 10:25 am #311928Agree.
TSF has been better as an impact sub since his return and Dawson can be brought on either up front or in midfield as required.
Yesterday’s defeat offset by those away wins at Southend and York. So we’re not doing too shabby.
October 5, 2025 at 10:50 am #311929‘Whitehall should always be first on the team sheet now’
Was he ready and fit to start? I assumed not
October 5, 2025 at 12:14 pm #311935Was deemed fit enough to play more than 45mins so I assume he was fit and could have been subbed as per norm on 60/70 mins if needed.
Been on the front foot from the off this season with his team selection but not yesterday, a gift to Carlisle imo, whatever it certainly didn’t work I hope you agree.October 5, 2025 at 1:04 pm #311940We were up and at em first part of the first half okay, then let them bully their way back in to it and the ref got card happy.
October 5, 2025 at 1:25 pm #311943Not sure why Whitehall didn’t start but I guess the manager does , playing him the entire second half was the correct decision after the sending off late in the first. Whitehalls well known shithousery kept Carlisle guessing and with several players booked for them already he may well have got one of them sent off with his type of gameplay. No difference between their striker and Whitehall in fairness to their shithousery, both good at winding up defenders and both good at drawing fouls and making it awkward for the referee to always make the correct decision, thought the ref yesterday got conned a fair bit by Carlisle’s gamesmanship particularly second half. Deffo start DW on Tuesday, if fit of course.
