Talking to a couple ppl on the ground in Scunny saying ITO unless big numbers attend from all over UpNorth it could well be a disaster as local sales have been very slow.
Im sure Mr Zanettis’ recent half time show hasnt helped ticket sales and now this licensing issue may be another nail in the coffin.

All this modern music not my cupps tea and 60 quid for ear drum damage unless the accoutics get sorted …. now if Depeche Mode are signed Enjoy The Silence and Jimmy Sommerville Smalltown Boy worth the entrance fee alone…. no need for snorting moon dust either.

Bought followers? Not much interaction with their IG posts compared to the number of followers!

I hope, for the Club’s sake, it comes off. But it’s already got the stink of dead animal about it.

Must be taking tips off scunny on how to promote something, only 7 acts listed on their web page.

Click for nightly lineup and nothing comes up.

The second ‘wave’ of acts were due to be announced last night. Second time Zanetti has missed his own deadline.

After his Chester half-time I’d guess it’s rare that he ever misses a line.

Seriously? These chumps? They have their origins in some laughable (not in a good way) internet antics. The original group consisted of these:

Though, I believe two are no longer associated with the group.

As someone with a broad taste in music, a passion for live performances, and a regular attender of festivals, I was initially excited when this event was announced. However, since then, it has become increasingly clear that the organization behind it lacks professionalism.

With no official line-up released, a website devoid of essential details such as the daily running order, and a general absence of enthusiasm surrounding the event, the outlook for this event is far from promising.

Given the ongoing rumours regarding licensing issues and council permissions, I would be genuinely surprised if the event goes ahead at all. Considering Tom Zanetti’s “performance” at the Chester match, this level of disarray sadly comes as no surprise.

Same here but I didn’t buy any tickets for this one. I’ve been involved in arranging events like this over a number of years in my line of work and you need 12-18 months to get the planning right – you can’t shortcut processes or you end up with the mess we’re seeing. Understand we’re desperate for money but it’s all a recipe for disaster. I hope there is no financial risk for the club with how this has been arranged.

What do you expect them to do? Hide it in the accounts under the term Bad Vibes?

As someone who works in events and have been in planning meetings for some of the capitals biggest occasions it’s hard to what these people have done from the website with regards getting 10k people there for a festival.Theres no info at all around any special measures.

The more I think about it now, the more I’ll be surprised if it goes ahead. It would be interesting to know just who is officially in charge of the logistics and infrastructure around this event – the new stadium manager?

That’s what I mean. Is Zanetti hiring ‘the building’ as it were, and providing his own teams for absolutely everything? Or is the Club responsible for all logistics, and Zanetti merely supplying the acts, facing up the promo and twatting a noseful in the tunnel on a matchday?

I’m guessing/hoping/imagine that his input is limited to texting some mates “in the industry” and getting a text back that they will do it for X pounds, and on the day he will be some sort of dj…..

‘A Night of Stars’ in 1966 at the OSG lost money and they had some big names on. The Who remain the best live band I have seen, including October 1965 at The Baths, a life changer for me. UTWI

Great year 1965 .. legends were born 5555555

Of course im an old rotund balding fella but theres nowt wrong with my ears .. musiC nowadays has no meaning no soul its just noise created to make money with skant regard to much else.

Im standing by my prediction that IF this gig does go ahead twill be a total disaster and Zanetti ran out ov town.

posted earlier and i agree with this

I was meaning the generational differences regarding what is good music now or not IFA, course there’s nowt wrong with your ears but the younger generation thinks you listen to crap compared to them it’s just how it is. Don’t think when it comes to music the kids today give a toss wether we like the majority of what they listen to or not.
